The 2024 Summer Olympic Games will be held in Paris, France from Friday 26 July 2024 to Sunday 11 August 2024.
In the XXXIII edition of the Summer Olympics in Paris 2024, there will be 10,500 athletes participating in total of 329 events at 35 different venues across 32 sports (including 4 additional sports Breaking, Sport Climbing, Skateboarding and Surfing) in 19 days of competition from 26 July to 11 August 2024 while Football, Rugby and Handball take place from July 24th.
While most of the Olympic events will be held in the city of Paris but the games will extend to many other areas of France. The football tournament will be played in six other cities (Bordeaux, Nantes, Lyon, Saint-Etienne, Nice and Marseille), sailing will take place in Marseille and surfing will be held at the Teahupo’o site in Tahiti.
As advised on olympics.com, Breaking is the only sport making its debut at Paris 2024. There will be two event for the breaking competition at the Paris 2024 Games; one will be for men and one will be for women, where 16 B-Boys and 16 B-Girls will go face to face in solo battles.
